ALASKA EDUCATIONAL QUIZZES

The question from last week:  Which of the following mammals are related?

-moose, caribou, musk ox, fox, ermine, beaver, ground squirrel, wolverine, wolf, pika, snow shoe hare and porcupine.  Here are the related groupings:

The moose and caribou belong to the deer family, the beaver, porcupine and ground squirrel are all in the rodent family, the wolverine and ermine are in the mustelidae family, along with skunks and other weasels, the fox and wolf are canines, and the pika, hare and musk ox are each in a separate family.  How did you do?

The question for next week is a practical one:  Are reservations necessary for lodging and for attractions when visiting in Alaska?
